MSc in Integrative Biology



Assessment

Assessment is based on 180 credits (120 credits for taught modules and 60 credits for the research project). The assessment for each module undertaken will be determined by the Module Convenor and specified in the Module Catalogue, and the Postgraduate Taught Courses Handbook.

The assessment can consist of a combination of:
  • Written examinations at the end of the appropriate semester associated with the lecture-based modules
  • Formal coursework assignments associated with the lecture modules
  • Research project
  • A viva voce examination

Candidates who have achieved the required standard in prescribed coursework, examinations and Research Project will be awarded the degree of Master (MSc) in Integrative Biology.
